Expert advises parents to show love to children with Dyslexia  – 21st August, 2022

A recent article reveals that a psychiatrist has concerns about the emotional well-being of dyslexic training.

The psychiatrist stated that although there wasn’t a cure for dyslexia with the right support and intervention dyslexic children can learn to deal with the condition.  Providing emotional support for dyslexics is essential to help them understand their condition and develop positive thoughts about their strengths.

Within the HF Colour-Code Method is the idea of giving children more autonomy to overcome their anxiety due to their learning difficulties. This involves allowing the child to use their favourite method to learn spelling patterns e.g. drawing, painting or using play doh to form words.

Furthermore, students are encouraged to chose their own subject of interest to read and write about such as football, cars or Lego.

By doing this, they feel more in control and passionate about their learning so that is engaging for them.
